The Company 

Our client is one of Ireland’s leading Life Science distributors, employing over 70 people with annual revenues exceeding €40 million. Supplying laboratory and biotechnology instrumentation, consumables and technical services to the pharmaceutical, medical device, academic and research sectors, they exclusively represent a portfolio of world-leading manufacturers.

Following several years of sustained double-digit growth, achieved through both organically & through acquisition, they wish to appoint a Customer Service / Internal Sales Specialist.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for a scientific graduate with some industry experience looking to transition into a commercial career.

The role involves assisting customers in all aspects of their engagement with the company, from identifying appropriate products, pricing, through to order management & resolving any issues.  Working in close collaboration with the Field Sales team, the role will also involve supporting them on sales engagements & attending customer site visits.  

Suitable candidates will have a scientific qualification, possess strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office along with an ambition to build a long term commercial career within life sciences.
