Our client are a well-established Irish distributor specialising in industrial automation and electrical control solutions. They supply end-user manufacturers, OEMs and machine builders, as well as electrical and automation integrators and contractors.

Representing several leading global automation brands on an exclusive basis, the company provides customers with both advanced technologies and strong in-house technical support across a diverse range of demanding production environments. In operation for over 25 years, the business has built a strong reputation across its customer base.

The Role

The company is now looking to appoint a field-based Automation Sales Engineer to develop and grow its customer base across Ireland.

The role will involve managing and developing existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities across OEMs, machine builders, integrators and industrial end users.

Keen to speak to individuals with an aligned technical background, likely electrical, automation or mechatronics, with strong influence skills & highly motivated.  Applicants from engineering specialists interested in a pivot towards sales are welcome.
