Our client are a global German engineering brand,  involved in the manufacturing and supply of industrial automation, control systems and connectivity products & solutions.  Investing millions annually into research & development, they provide cutting edge technology across Industry 4.0 & digitization allowing customers to modernise & prepare for IoT with best in products, backed up with next gen cloud based applications.  They are well established in Ireland with both a direct sales operation plus an established distributer network & customer base. They are looking to appoint a Sales Engineer

The Role

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing the all the companies’ major customers within territory (Dublin to Galway North including Northern Ireland), leading large pursuits into end user accounts along with managing their distribution partners.  Role will also have a strong focus towards their automation offering covering PLC, I/O Systems Ethernet, HMI & Visualisation applications. Suitable candidates will have strong technical expertise, coupled with solid influencing skills, be highly organised, with a desire to work within a target orientated environment.
