Scientific Sales Executive  – Food Testing

With revenues in excess of $2bn per annum & employing over 5000 people worldwide, our client are a global leader in the provision of testing & product development services to the pharmaceutical, food production & environmental sectors.  With over 50 accredited labs worldwide, they’ve witnessed significant growth in recent years with a string of acquisitions across multiple regions. Significant investment has also been made in their Irish operations, including a recent multi-million-euro capital expenditure to expand laboratory capabilities and service offerings locally.

The Role

They looking to appoint Sales Executive to their Food Testing division. This role with involve direct management & ownership of some of their largest customers which currently have a significant spend with the business.  Along with promotion of additional services within their key accounts, the role will also be responsible for new customer development activity.  Keen to speak to individuals with a relevant Life Science qualification (likely Microbiology, Environmental or chemistry) who are familiar with food production processes. Suitable candidates will be ambitious, with strong influencing skills, self-motivated & organised.

The Reward

On offer will be an attractive package including a high base salary, bonus, health plan, company car & benefits.  This is a rapidly expanding business in Ireland with an expanding sales team as they roll out new products & services.  So for anyone who make an impact, longer term carrier opportunities will be available as the business continues to accelerate. Salary circa 60/70k plus package.
